ASSP Eastern New York Chapter Meeting Presentation

Mary McCoy, PE, presented Heat Injury and Illness Prevention in Outdoor and Indoor Work Settings at the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Eastern New York Chapter meeting on October 8th at 5pm, at TORO Cantina.

Mary’s safety experience includes fall protection, confined space, control of hazardous energy, machine guarding; administration of hearing, respiratory protection and medical surveillance programs; spill response; PPE selection; hazardous chemical management; and job hazard analysis. Industries in which she’s worked include organic chemical, energetic materials, and vanadium production and aerospace parts manufacturing.
