Through an “as-needed” Environmental Term Contract, C.T. Male has supported Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) with a range of environmental compliance services, including the following assignments.

C.T. Male evaluated the campus’s Petroleum Bulk Storage operations, assisted with the preparation of an updated NYSDEC PBS registration application, and evaluated the facility’s Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures Plan for compliance with 40 CFR Part 112. Our Environmental Services staff supported HVCC during an announced NYSDEC PBS inspection and worked with the College following the inspection to improve compliance related to aboveground storage tank secondary containment and overfill prevention, as well as USEPA underground storage tank inspections. C.T. Male also assisted HVCC with non-regulatory-driven underground tank inspections and tank-top upgrades to support preventive maintenance and improve system functionality.

C.T. Male assisted HVCC’s EHS and Facilities personnel with MS4 compliance items in preparation for a NYSDEC inspection of campus operations. This work included reviewing existing operations, written plans and documents, and records related to MS4 operations. Our Environmental Services staff also supported facility personnel during the NYSDEC review and audit process. Following the inspection, C.T. Male worked with the College to improve procedures and documentation to help assure compliance with its MS4 requirements.

C.T. Male also assisted HVCC with reviewing Clean Air Act operations covered under the facility’s Air State Facility Permit and preparing the NYSDEC Annual Compliance Certification Reports required by the facility’s air permit. Our Environmental Services personnel also helped HVCC identify effective recordkeeping methods to support ongoing compliance with the facility’s air permit requirements.
