Friendship Lodge

Friendship Lodge is a proposed 64 bed affordable and mental health housing project located in Johnstown, NY. Conceived as a 3-story wood framed structure, the project incorporates elements of local vernacular design to create an inviting and familiar place for residents. The project is funded through a 4% Low-Income Housing Tax Credit through NYS Homes and Community Renewal. Construction began September 2020.

The facility will serve a local need for supportive mental health housing and affordable housing units. The blended program allows the agency to support existing clients by offering independent housing within a supervised environment as well as serve at risk individuals and families that need a safe, supportive environment to maintain quality of life.
