WRGB/WCWN – First Floor Office Renovations

Sinclair Broadcast Group, having recently taken over the WRGB / WCWN Studios in Niskayuna, New York, came to C.T. Male to develop and provide Construction Documents for the Office renovations of their first-floor sales, reception and waiting room areas. Having originally been constructed in the 1960’s, as technology and station requirements changed over the years, the facility has gone through many alterations and renovations.

C.T. Male Associates was asked to come in and take stock of many of the public or visitor spaces of the facility. The end goal being to not only update many of the fixtures and finishes of the facility, but to “standardize” many of the various areas and develop a cohesive look and feel to the facility. Areas addressed in the renovation will include the main visitor entrance, waiting area, reception, sales areas, executive conference room, public and employee bathrooms and well as the circulation paths between these spaces.
