IT Technician	Administrative Services	Latham, NY	C.T. Male Associates, a multi-discipline engineering, architectural, and land surveying firm based in the Capital Region, has a full-time opportunity for an IT Technician in our Latham, NY office. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining personnel computers and associated peripherals, while providing support to our dynamic IT Team. This is an in-office role, with rare and occasional travel to support branch offices. Primary Responsibilities: Performs troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common problems. Updates hardware and software components as required. Provides users with technical support. Instrument Operator	Survey Services	Latham, NY	As an Instrument Operator in C.T. Male Associates’ Survey division, you will perform boundary, topographic, and construction surveys under direct supervision of a Crew Chief, contributing to a variety of projects. You’ll have the opportunity to operate and maintain a variety of surveying instruments, such as Data Collectors, Total Stations, GPS, 3D Laser Scanners, drones, and other equipment. Your responsibilities will include performing mathematical calculations to establish and locate reference points, property corners, and line staking construction projects, as well as interpreting maps, plats, plans, and specifications. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license. Ability to obtain training certifications as needed. Must be willing to work out of town within approximately three (3) hours of the Albany area (paid travel and per-diem). Utility Locating Team Lead	Survey Services	Latham, NY	As a Utility Locating Team Lead, you will interact with clients to secure work and negotiate contracts. Your responsibilities will include accurately marking the location of underground utilities, tanks, etc., while utilizing RF, EM, magnetic, and ground penetrating radar equipment. You will work with coworkers, clients, and the public to complete tasks in a safe and timely manner. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and at least three (3) years of utility locating experience. A knowledge of utility locating theory and techniques. Capability to act as Project Manager as relates to individual sites and clients. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Must be able to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with test pit or vacuum excavation operations and equipment is a plus. Senior Site Civil Engineer	Civil Engineering & Land Services	Syracuse, NY	As a Senior Site Civil Engineer, you will lead all phases of a variety of land development and infrastructure projects including feasibility studies, schematic design, site plan permitting and approvals, construction support, and commissioning. You will collaborate with a team of technical professionals across disciplines on challenging and fulfilling work. C.T. Project Surveyor	Survey Services	Latham, NY; Syracuse, NY	As a Project Surveyor, you will act as the lead professional to ensure quality products, providing technical and professional consultation on projects involving survey issues. You will negotiate contracts, prepare proposals, and manage financial and technical aspects of projects, including directing and instructing other field staff. Specific activities include developing sound Scopes of Work based on clients’ requirements, interpreting maps, design and architectural plans, and specifications to effectively complete assignments, including construction stakeouts and surveys. You will work with the Survey Division Manager and Director of Marketing to further business development. Required Qualifications: A.A.S. degree in Surveying Technology or related field and/or a minimum of seven (7) years of experience with Survey Project Management or combination of education and experience. New York State Professional Land Surveyor (P.L.S.). A thorough knowledge of all types of land surveys. Complete knowledge of the purpose and procedures for field and office work regarding surveys.
