C.T. Male Associates provided Site Planning, Engineering, and Architectural services for a major distribution company on multiple projects.  DeCrescente Distributing Company (DDC) is a top Capital District company with a long history in Mechanicville.

Point of Sale Warehouse and Training Center

DeCrescente Distributing Company desired to stay in Mechanicville, but its existing facility was not large enough to keep up with its growth.  C.T. Male Associates initially provided land planning and approval process services, and ultimately was contracted to provide architectural services for new property development across from its primary facility.

The new development includes a single story high bay “Point of Sale” warehouse which holds primarily marketing products.  Once this prime use was achieved, C.T. Male Associates’ site plan allowed for the additional development of a Training/Conference Center.  This two story building was designed to also include a Health Center for the company’s employees.

This project required the full extent of C.T. Male Associates’ services: beginning with Boundary and Topographic Survey Services, Site Planning, Site Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, and Building Systems Engineering.

Main Facility Warehouse Expansion

The new development allowed for a warehouse expansion at the primary DeCrescente Distributing Company facility.  C.T. Male Associates conducted all site planning and engineering for the expansion.  Town approval process, construction phasing and implementation. Truck turning analysis services were also provided.

Best Road Parking Development

A truck delivery staging lot was developed to provide better truck staging on-site.  The developed site included environment conditions limiting the depth of utilities. C.T. Male Associates was able to achieve the project goals without impacting the underlying contaminated soils.
