Environmental Engineer I
As an Environmental Engineer I, you will work as part of an established industrial/institutional environmental regulatory compliance team and support the strategic direction, client interactions, and technical deliverables associated with projects. Help us improve the environment, one site at a time, by scoping, implementing, observing, and reporting on sites that require remediation to bring it into compliance, prepare it for development, or simply improve its subsurface conditions.
Our clients include multinational chemical manufacturers, state and local governments, colleges and universities and other institutional organizations. Typical projects include Clean Air Act permitting, air dispersion modeling, hazardous waste auditing/permitting, petroleum and chemical related permitting/inspection/spill plans and SPDES permitting. Remediation related projects may include multi-media site investigation, spill response coordination/documentation, vapor intrusion investigation/design, and small to large scale cleanup projects under various State programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
- 1 – 2 years relevant post-graduate experience preferred, with related internships a bonus.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 40 Hour training is preferred.
- OSHA 10 Hour Construction training is preferred.
Pay Range: $56,000 – $63,000 per year, paid weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
