Project Electrical Engineer
As a Project Electrical Engineer, you will coordinate design work and project documentation with other disciplines within the firm, clients, and other design professionals, leading the electrical design process for building system new and renovation designs. Specific activities include new electrical service NEC load calculations, service/feeder/branch panel design, generator sizing, and lighting design. Your role will support PV solar and other renewable energy designs, including high voltage DC, low voltage AC, and medium voltage AC. You will use computer aided design technologies and software in aspects of designs, sketches, drawings, and evaluations. You will be involved in scheduling and budget controls, as well as in performance studies of sites.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Four plus (4+) years experience in electrical engineering, design, or related field.
- Engineer in Training (E.I.T) certificate.
- Training or experience with AutoCAD.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- New York State Professional Engineer (P.E.).
- Revit training or experience.
- Experience using the following engineering software:
- SKM
- EasyPower
- O-Calc Pro
- PLSCADD
- E-TAP
- Visual Studio
Pay Range: $75,000 – $105,000 per year, paid weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
