Millennium Eastern System Upgrade – Survey & Site Engineering

C.T. Male Associates performed survey, site design, FERC permit mapping, and storm water design for the Eastern System Upgrade (ESU) project in Orange, Rockland and Sullivan Counties located in New York. The existing Millennium facilities are being upgraded with 7.8 miles of new 30” pipeline, two (2) compressor stations, two (2) meter stations and one (1) major interconnect site improvement. C.T. Male Associates was also responsible for preparing tract maps for negotiations with individual land owners in order to secure additional easements. The project is currently in the final stages of construction.

As part of this project, C.T. Male Associates designed a 4000’ long, new access road. Design included a stream crossing via a pre-cast bridge which was used to limit disturbance of sensitive wetlands.

An integral part of the project is a Horizontal Directional Drill under the Neversink River. This 2,200’ drill will avoid sensitive habitats along the River. The stormwater facilities and the erosion and sediment control measures for all sites were designed in compliance with the New York State Stormwater Management Design Manual.
