Evaluation, Planning & Preliminary Design Services for the Queensbury Highway Garage

C.T. Male Associates was chosen to evaluate the existing highway maintenance garage for the Town of Queensbury, as well as generate a new design for the site based on the current capacity and function of the facility. The design included a new highway garage, along with a new salt storage area. Additionally, a vehicle wash bay with sand-oil separator were incorporated into the design.

Additional work included a reassessment of other site functions to determine the best vehicular flow patterns and utilization of the site while not encroaching onto an adjacent NYSDEC Wetland. Stormwater treatment practices were designed to treat runoff from reconstructed and newly constructed impervious areas prior to discharging flows off-site. The project is in the final stages of construction and C.T. Male continues to provide SWPPP inspection service, which will continue until the site is deemed stabilized.
