Meet C.T. Male Associates Principal Architect Richard Campagnola, R.A.
C.T. Male Associates’ Principal Architect, Richard Campagnola, is a Registered Architect in five states and holds two bachelors from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Architecture and Buildings Sciences. Additionally, Mr. Campagnola is a certified New York State Building Safety Inspector and Code Enforcement Official and holds a NYS Code Enforcement Disaster Assistance Response certification.
Based upon his 30 years of design-build experience and background in the construction industry, Mr. Campagnola continually provides keen insight into the design and construction administration of all projects, with a special focus on services for essential facilities.
Since joining our Upstate NY architecture firm in 2000, Mr. Campagnola has been the project manager responsible for coordinating multi-discipline teams on numerous large projects. As a shareholder in the firm, he is responsible for overseeing the quality control, design, and construction administration of architectural projects performed by the firm for a wide variety of public clientele, ranging from governmental agencies, municipalities, and fire districts, as well as private industry and commercial developers.
Mr. Campagnola’s favorite part of his position with C.T. Male Associates is the “ability to work on a wide range of projects for a multi-discipline firm that is capable of offering clients single source responsibility for all their professional design needs.”
Like his colleague Managing Mechanical Engineer Christina Widay, Mr. Campagnola is particularly proud of the recently completed historical renovations to the Todd Hill Rest Area on New York’s Taconic State Parkway. The team also recently completed historical alterations to the Broome Gateway Rest Area on Interstate I-81 in New York. Both projects required meeting multiple design and retail objectives while incorporating modern and efficient systems and maintaining an aggressive construction schedule.
